Malaysian long jumper Abdul Latif Romly broke his own record three times en route to earning his country's third gold medal of the Rio Paralympics. Noticing a theme?

In the men's long jump T20 final,AbdulLatif Romlyproved that records are meant to be broken...by him.

On his secondattempt, the 19-year-old set a new world record of 7.47metres, then broke it on his third attempt with a jump of7.54.

Just for good measure, he broke his own world record for a third time on his fifth attempt by leaping a whopping 7.60.

In addition to breaking his own world record three times in the same day,he also earned Malaysia's third gold medal of theseParalympics. Prior to Rio, Malaysia had never won a gold medal at any Paralympic Games.
