Spotted: Sidney Crosby slashing Marc Methot on Thursday night.

The slash looked harmless until Methot took off his glove and realized that his fingertip was bloodied and dangling.

Crosbyskated free with no penalty and NHL fans had a lot to say about it.

There's a little controversy surrounding Crosbynot getting penalties lately.

When the Pittsburgh Penguins played the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night, Crosbyspeared Ryan O'Reilly in the groin from behind and never received a penalty.

Who knows, maybe Crosby was just in a bad mood from losing his teeth against the Sabres.
