Remember when we "Park(ed) Your Frustration?"

This week, theOntario government announced it is freezing the price of parking at all the province'shospitals and forcing every hospital that charges more than $10 a day to offer discounts for longer-term users.

"We believe that parking fees should not be a barrier to health care,"Health Minister EricHoskins said. "This announcement will make a difference for those whoregularlyvisit our hospitals."

White Coat, Black Art first raised the issue in 2011, with an episode we called "Park Your Frustation."

The episode sparked calls to address the issue, including an editorialin the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
