Ontario's vaccine plan dangerously off the mark, doctor says

Vaccinate those getting sick and bring vaccines to the factories and communal work settings two changes Dr. Naheed Dosani says should happen to Ontario's vaccine rollout plan. Today, host Jayme Poisson speaks to Dosani about who is being left behind as dangerous COVID-19 variants take hold.

Premier DougFord has blamed Ontario's slow vaccine rollout on a lack of supply. But right now in the province, 1.6 million vaccine doses sit in freezers while millions of people remain unvaccinated many of them young, racialized essential workers, who are more at risk from the new variants. Today, Dr. Naheed Dosani calls for a new vaccine strategy that prioritizes putting vaccines in the arms of the people who put themselves on the line for all of us.
