Peace in the house

CBC producer Danielle Nerman is Jewish, but doesn't consider herself very religious. She describes her brother, on the other hand, as a 'Super Jew'. It's been 18 years since faith started to drive a wedge between the Nerman siblings, and Danielle has decided it's finally time to address the distance between them. Tag along on a special Nerman family vacation in this week's doc, Peace in the House.

About the doc maker:

Based in Calgary, Alberta,Danielle Nermanis an award-winning CBC journalist and current affairs producer who has chased dinosaur fossil thieves through Mongolia's Gobi Desert and was once willingly stung by live bees to see if it would clear her sinus infection. It didn't, and she ended up in a Beijing hospital.

Danielle's passion for storytelling continues to take her around the world, most recently, to Tokyo through the Foreign Press Center / Japan Media Fellowship.
