Married optometrists Rachel Sommer and Stuart Holden learn a valuable lesson when Stuart, an Aussie, hurries a little too hard to embrace Canadian culture.

Stand-up comic/small-animal veterinarian Ted Morris takes us deep into the bowels of the moment he realized he didn't want to be a large-animal vet...

Plus, a special appearance from a local comedy hero - and a familiar voice! Stephen Sim is a fixture in Winnipeg's comedy community, but radio fans probably know him as DNTO's smooth-voiced ID guy.

Winnipeg troubadour JP Hoe, one of the city's most dynamic musicians and storytellers, shares the moving tale of the most challenging 24 hours of his life.

One of the neat things that's sprung up in Winnipeg recently is a new monthly storytelling night called the Hear/Say. And one of the first peeps to stand up and bare his soul on stage was our very own Kaj Hasselriis, DNTO producer extraordinaire - telling the story of the time he found himself alone on the other side of the world.

So imagine you're newly married, and one of your biggest rivals - your husband's ex-girlfriend - invites herself over for dinner. What would you do? Well, if you're Jean Freeman, you prepare for battle.

And for our last word we turn it over to Candy Palmater, whose powerful story takes place on a camping trip with her parents... which changed the way she viewed the world - and her father - forever.
