Over a rare comet sighting

In recent days, stargazers have been blessed with celestial events in the northern hemisphere.

Last week, it was the aurora borealis, a.k.a. the northern lights, on display over Canada and Europe. And this week it's a comet, which won't pass Earth for another 80,000 years.

You can try to get a glimpse of it yourself as comet C/2023 A3 (TsuchinshanATLAS) will be visible from Earth until late October and should be visible if you look toward the western horizon just after sunset on Wednesday and Thursday.

In the meantime, here are some scenes of this comet on Thanksgiving weekend.
