Video emerges of scene where Omar Mateen appears as security guard

Omar Mateenappearsin hidden video footagein thedocumentary The Big Fix, complaining whileworking as a security guard after the BP oil spill in 2010, severalyears before shooting dozens of people ina gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla.

The footage was republished Wednesday in a video news story by the Wall Street Journal, and his then employer, G4S Secure Solutions, confirmed the man is Mateen.

The 2012documentaryexamines theoil spill in the Gulf of Mexicofollowing the sinking of theDeepwaterHorizonrig.

In the footage,Mateencan be heard saying there's no one to talk to on site and rants about what's happening.

"They're just hoping for more oil to come out and more people to complain.They just want more disaster to happen because that's where the money making is."

Mateen was killed by police early morningSunday after opening fire in Pulse, leaving49 peopledead and injuring 53others.
