Canadian confirmed injured in Paris attacks

A Foreign Affairs spokeswoman says a Canadian was injured during the Paris attacks on Friday.

Diana Khaddaj says in an email that Canadian consular officials in Paris are in contact with the family of the Canadian and are providing assistance.

She says no other information is being released for privacy reasons. The Canadian Embassy in Paris said the woman is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States, and is in stable condition.

The co-ordinated gun and bomb attacks on France's national stadium, a concert hall and cafs left 129 people dead and 350 wounded.

Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants have claimed responsibility for the attacks and are threatening to attack all nations involved in bombing ISIS positions.
