Hotline Bling ruined in Super Bowl telecom ad

Hotline Bling may have been on your cellphone since last July, but now Drake ispitching Americans that they change that phone's provider.

In an upcoming Super Bowl commercial, Drake "dances"to his hit songfor U.S. telecom T-Mobile. The 30-secondad starts midway through the Hotline Bling music video, where his awkward fumblingis interrupted by business people from a phone carrier.

They offer him a few changes to the song, including annoying contract stipulations, and Drake asserts with a massive grin: "These changes don't ruin the song at all."

T-Mobile has been trying to position itself as the "Un-Carrier" in the United States, though the Verge reports that many of their tactics in doing so breach U.S. net neutrality rules.
