Quebecers are parodying the Liberals' intense new posters

The Liberal Party's new black and red posters that are going up in Quebec are being mocked online, with an actual parody sign popping up in a Montreal riding as well.

The federalLiberal Party's dramaticallylit, black and red signsin Quebec are a bold departurefrom the party's election posters in the rest of the country.

But to some, the signslookdownright sinister, which hasinspiredcreative parodieslike this one fromMontrealer Nique Yager.

These nefarious characters soon appeared online as well.

NDP candidateHlneLeBlancgot in on the fun, too.

Despite the parodies, co-director of the Quebec federal Liberal campaign, Pablo Rodriguez, says he's welcomed all the attention the ads have received.
