The probe into suspended senator Mike Duffy'sspending has already produced substantial paperwork through copies of emails, court filings and other documents both he and the RCMP have used to bolster their sides of the case.

CBC News has collected the key publicly disclosed documents, starting with the Senate's own records outlining what senators may claim, and culminating with the affidavits filed by the RCMP as they compiled the information they say shows the former Conservative senator committed fraud and breach of trust.

  • July, 2009 email exchange in which Duffy sought cabinet perks for the work he was doing on behalf of the Conservative Party.
  • A Jan. 3, 2013memo regarding an unnamed senator's request to P.E.I. Health Minister DougCurrieaboutspeeding up the process to get a health card. The senator's name is redacted. Ahealth card was one of the pieces of identification senators could use to prove their residency.
  • March 21, 2013letter from Senator Marjory LeBreton, then the government's Senate leader, to the PMO regarding its reaction to the possibility ofcreating a committee toaddress the Senate's travel rules.The documents were contained in the November, 2013 court documents filed by theRCMP.
  • March, 2013emailsand draftsregarding PMOadvice to Harper on a response toLeBreton.The documents were contained in the November, 2013 RCMP court documents.
  • Documentstabled in the Senateby Duffy onOct. 29, 2013, when he addressed the allegations ahead of a vote to suspend him and two other senators facing similar allegations. They include a cheque from the Conservative Party's lawyer to cover Duffy's legal fees andemailsfrom Nigel Wright, Prime Minister Stephen Harper's former chief of staff.
  • Dec. 1, 2013 letter thePrivy Council Office wrote to theRCMPto say they hadfound theemailsof former PMO lawyer BenjaminPerrin, which were previously thought to have beendeleted.
