Canada election 2015: Where the leaders are Wednesday

With the federal election campaign finish line in sight, the leaders of the Conservative and New Democratic parties will spend the day shoring up support in ridings they won in 2011.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper will hold his first event of the day in southwestern Ontario in the Brantford-Brant riding, then attend an evening event hosted by the Canada-India Friendship Group in Brampton, Ontario.

NDP Leader Tom Mulcair will attend a town hall event in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, which the New Democrats won from the Liberals in 2011.

Mulcair then heads to a farm in the Quebec riding of Repentigny, which the NDP snatched from the Blocin 2011.

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, meanwhile, will spend the first part of his day targeting Ontario ridings the Liberals hope to take from the NDP Hamilton Mountain and Niagara Centre riding.

Trudeau will then switch gears with a visit to St. Catharines, a Conservative riding where the Liberals placed third in 2011.

The Liberal leader finishes his day with a rally in Ajax, where former Liberal MP Mark Holland is looking to unseat Conservative Chris Alexander.

Green party Leader Elizabeth May will make three campaign stops today in Vancouver and two in the Victoria-area communities of Colwood and Langford.

Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe faces a busy day, with eight campaign events in six Quebec communities.
