Canada election 2015: Where the leaders are Tuesday

BothNDP Leader TomMulcairand Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau venture intoConservative strongholds in Ontario today,where they are expected to trumpet their economic credentials.

Conservative Leader Stephen Harper is also expected to boastabout his economic credentials when he visits one of the few areasof Quebec where he already has a toe-hold.

Mulcair will visit Dundas, Kitchener and Sarnia in southwesternOntario where Conservatives handily captured seats in the 2011election. He will try to soothe voters' concerns about the tankingglobal economy and discuss the need to boost investment inmanufacturing.

Trudeau will also visit Conservative territory in the vote-richToronto suburbs first in Scarborough and then Brampton.

He will be armed with former prime minister Paul Martin and isexpected to discuss how the Liberal team would handle the economicdownturn and federal finances.

Stephen Harper will also be talking economics, but he choserelatively fertile ground to spread his message.

The Conservatives lost many of their Quebec seats in 2011,hanging on to only five, mainly just outside Quebec City. Harper ispolling well in the city itself, and that's where he will be todayin the hopes of eventually boosting his seat count.

Green party Leader Elizabeth May will unveil a housing policy inBurnaby, B.C., and hold an evening town hall in Vancouver.

Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe has events in Rimouski,Havre-Saint-Pierre and Sept-Iles.
