Canada election 2015: Where the leaders are Wednesday

The leaders of the NDP and Liberals are setting their sights on British Columbia today, while Stephen Harper focuses on Conservative territory in southwestern Ontario.

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau starts his day with an announcement in Winnipeg, followed by another announcement in Vancouver.

There, he'll find himself in the same region as NDP Leader Tom Mulcair, as he makes an announcement then holds a roundtable discussion in nearby Surrey.

Surrey, seen as a key battleground for all three main parties, has four main ridings, two controlled by the NDP and two held by the Conservatives.

Harper will make a mid-morning announcement in London, Ont., where Conservatives hold three out of the four seats.

The Tories solidly took two of the ridings in the last election, while the NDP garnered 50 per cent of the vote in London-Fanshawe, but London North Centre only turned Conservative in 2011 and not by a large margin.

Bloc Qubcois Leader Gilles Duceppe will hold a news conference at safe injection sites in Montreal while Green party Leader Elizabeth May will greet commuters during an early morning visit to Saanich, B.C.
