There will be a mix of orange and blue at tonight's Toronto Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre where baseball fans may find themselves greeted by NDP Leader TomMulcair.

One of his campaign events is a photo-op at the game featuring the sizzling Blue Jays trying to extend an 11-game winning streak when they open a series against the New York Yankees.

Mulcair also plans to make an economic announcement in Toronto in the morning in the riding where Finance Minister Joe Oliver is running again as an incumbent, EglintonLawrence. The race with the Liberals (who held the seat prior to Oliver's election in 2011) is expected to be very tight, following a hotly-contested nomination fight for the red team.

The Conservative plane went north and landed in Hay River, N.W.T. late last evening. Stephen Harper is making an announcement later this morning before moving on to Iqaluit for a photo call and rally later in the day.

Bloc Quebecois leader Gilles Duceppe will campaign in Montreal while Green Party leader Elizabeth May pays a visit to Nanaimo, B.C.

Liberal leader Justin Trudeau has no public campaign events today.
