Ottawa shooting spurs social media outpouring

Canadians flocked to social media in the aftermath of an attack on Parliament Hill and the National War Memorial, tweeting messages of support to the shaken city of Ottawa. Citizens across the country praised the first responders who tended to the victim as well as the officers who worked to secure the city. Here is a stream of the tweets.
