New Star Wars trailer all about the bad guys

Disney has released yet another teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and this one is all about the bad guys.

Disney andLucasfilm havebeen very tight-lipped about the newestinstallment in the sci-fi/fantasy franchise, releasinga series of teaser trailers thatreveal only smallhints about the film'splot and characters, promptingwild speculation from fans.

Until now, the trailers have focused mostly on The Force Awakens' mainprotagonists,Daisy Ridley'sRey andJohn Boyega'sFinn.

But the latest footage, released Thursday, is all about Kylo Ren, a Darth Vader-like villainwith a cross-shaped lightsaberportrayed Adam Driver, best known for his role on HBO's Girls.

The trailer begins with what sounds like the voice ofAndy Serkis's Supreme Leader Snoke telling Kylo Ren: "There's been an awakening. Have you felt it?"

Snoke follows with a linethat suggests the film's big bad may bebit of a rookie when it comes to the dark side: "Even you have never faced such a test."

KyloRen'sscenes are underscoredby the classic Star WarsDeath March theme from John Williams' soundtrack.

Fans can also catch a glimpse in the trailerofheroic duo Rey and Finn, a massive legion of Stormtroopers, and oldfavouritesHan Solo and Chewbacca.

The Force Awakens premiers on Dec. 18 in Canada.
