Brangelina breakup sends ripples through pop culture world

Angelina Jolie's filing for divorce from Brad Pitt has sent ripples throughthe global pop culture firmament, with the decision sparking commentary from U.S. late-show hosts, Grammy-winning singer Adele, Madame Tussauds wax museum and more.

There is no doubt of the pervasiveness of the power couple formerly known as Brangelina, with widespread discussion of Jolie's divorce filing, made public Tuesday.

Aside from being awater-cooler topic, the separation and impending divorce of the high-profile Hollywood actors-filmmakers providedeasy fodder for the pantheon of late-night hosts.

"It's pretty scary when even Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are like, 'Eh, I can do better," TonightShow hostFallon quipped on about the comely duo.

Warning that he had "some terrible news" to share, Stephen Colbert told his Late Show audience the couple had filed for divorce on Monday, "citing irreconcilable attractiveness."
