The biographical drama Trumbo won the People's Choice Award from the recent Windsor International Film Festival.

The film tells the story of Dalton Trumbo, a blacklisted screenwriter who won two Oscars for his work.

Bryan Cranston, who is well-known to many as the actor who played Walter White on Breaking Bad, plays the title role in Trumbo.

Dozens of films were shown at this year's film festival. Organizers say that more than 17,000 tickets were sold, which was a record for WIFF.
