Here's what's open and closed in Windsor this Remembrance Day

Malls and transit will operate under regular hours in Windsor, Ont., while museums and libraries will be closed on Remembrance Day.

Monday will mark Remembrance Day, and while the City of Windsor's administration will be closed, other operations will follow regular or adjusted hours.

The city's official Remembrance Day service takes place at City Hall Square at 11 a.m. ET. Remembrance Dayis being marked in other ways throughout the city as well.

Here's what's open and closed this Nov. 11:

Transit Windsor

Buses are operating on aregular weekday schedule. The customer service office at 300 Chatham St.W. will also be open until 6 p.m.

Homelessness and Housing Help Hub

Open regular hours on Remembrance Day from 8 a.m. to midnight at 400 WyandotteSt.E.

Parks and Recreation

Community and customer care centresandarenaswill be open.

TheWindsor International Aquatic and Training Centrepool, Gino & Liz Marcus Community Pool,and theWFCU Community Poolwill be open.

Lakeview Park Marina's customer service office, fuel dock and the launch ramps will be closed for the season.

Adventure Bay Family Water Park will be closed.

Windsor Public Library

All library locations will be closed on Monday.

Malls

Devonshire mall will be open regular hours: 10 a.m. to8 pm.

Tecumseh Mall will be open regular hours: 10 a.m. to8 p.m.

Museum Windsor

The Chimczuk Museum and Franois Baby House locations are normally closed on Mondaysand will remain closed on Remembrance Day.

Residential collection services

There will be no delays for the week of Nov.11.Residents should expect garbage and recycling collections to proceed asregularly scheduled. This includes night commercial, front-end loader and weekly recycling.

Public Drop-off and Household Chemical Waste Depots

The depots located at the northeast corner of Central Avenue and North Service Road East will be open during regularhours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., however, the administration office will be closed, and collection calendar distribution will be unavailable.

311 Customer Contact Centre

Closed onMondayand willreopen onTuesdayfrom 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Parking Enforcement

Municipal ticket payment offices will be closed.
