"I didn't really want to work in an office and the only skill I had outside of textbookswas cooking."

That is the simple reason whyRachaelMyers and her husbandRob started Little Foot Foods in 2013. The Windsor-based company sells a variety of comfort foods through local stores, farmers' markets and home delivery.

Their signature itemis a Polish-style perogy. Classics likepotato, cheddar and sauerkraut are offered, but it goes far beyond that. More than a dozen varieties of fillings are available, including habenero, pumpkin pie, and"sunrise", a breakfast perogy that features ham and egg.

The Riverside couple also creates limited edition perogiesfor local restaurantsthat involvefillings such as blue cheese and sweet potato and even kangeroo meat.
