Woman charged in Lakeshore crash that sent 7-year-old to hospital in August

A London woman has been charged with impaired driving after an August crash of a car into a homein Lakeshore that sent four people to hospital.

No one in the home at the time of the crash was injured

One person has been charged with impaired driving after an August crash of a car into a homein Lakeshore that sent four people to the hospital.

According to Essex County OPP, police initially responded just after 1 a.m. ET on Aug.12 for a report of a car that had crashed into a home onHighway 77 at County Road 8 in Staples.

Four people, including a 7-year-old, were taken to hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening. No one in the home at the time of the crash was injured.

Police now say that lastFriday, a 35-year-old London woman was arrested in Peel Region.

She has been charged with two counts of operation while impaired and one count each of dangerous operation causing bodily harm and driving while under suspension.
