The city is looking for public feedback on what to do with 16 murals in Sandwich Towne.

The murals honour community black leaders and were exhibited on the outside of a grocery store on Sandwich Street.

When the grocery store was sold, a concerned citizen took down the murals.

They're now in the city's possession, being stored for safekeeping.

An online survey will be open until Feb. 11 for feedback on what to do with the murals.

The city will also hold two town hall sessions at Mackenzie Hall Cultural Centre for residents to discuss their thoughts with administration. The sessions are on Jan. 23 at 5 p.m. and on Feb. 2 at 10 a.m.
