37-year-old man dies in Chatham-Kent collision

The Chatham-Kent Police Service says a man has died after a collision Sunday morning near Ouvry.

Two other people taken to hospital with significant, non-life-threatening injuries

The Chatham-Kent Police Service says a man has died following a collisionSunday morning on Talbot Trail.

Police were called to the scene between Goulet Road and Kendall Road just after 10:30 a.m, the forcesaid in a news releaseMonday.

The responding officers found the involved vehicles with extensive damage.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a 37-year-old Merlin man, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Two occupants from the second vehicle were transported to hospital with significant, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Unit has taken over the Investigation.
