Man dead in single-vehicle crash in King City: York police

A man is dead after a single-vehicle collision inTownship of King, roughly 60 kilometres north of Toronto, York Regional Police say.

Police looking to speak to witnesses in the area at the time of collision Saturday

A man is dead after a single-vehicle collision inTownship of King, roughly 60 kilometres north of Toronto, York Regional Police say.

Officers were called to17thSideroad and 11thConcession at around 7:44 p.m. on Saturday.

When emergency crewsarrived, they found a black Honda sedan on its roof, with a lone occupant trapped inside the vehicle.Investigators say the collision happened on the stretch of the road that is in a remote area.

Despite life-saving measures, the 33-year-old Vaughan man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision or may have DashCam footage are asked to contact police.
