Toronto man dies in hospital hours after shooting

A man has died in hospital after he was found suffering from a gunshot wound in northwest Toronto.

Toronto police say they were called to a reported shooting on Scarlettwood Court at 1:56 a.m. on Wednesday.

The victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died later that day.

On Thursday, police identified the victim as 31-year-old Colin Mohamed of Toronto.

A post-mortem has been scheduled for Thursday.
