Man in 20s dead following 'crazy' shooting in Sheppard and Weston area

A man in his 20s has been pronounced dead after being shot multiple times in a brazen daylight shooting in the Sheppard Avenue West and Weston Road area.

A manin his 20shas been pronounced dead after being shotmultiple timesin a brazen daylightshooting in the Sheppard Avenue West and Weston Road area.

Toronto Police were called to a building near theintersection of Weston Road and ImogeneAvenue around 6:30 p.m. Friday, where a victim who lived in the building was located in a parking lot.

Between 12-16 shots were fired, Sgt. Rick Rowsometold reporters Friday night.

Rowsomedescribed the shooting as"crazy."

"The level of indifference is astonishing," he said.

Two male suspects in a black vehicle, possibly a Honda, were seen fleeing either north or south on Weston Road, Rowsome said.
