2 people shot in Vaughan, 1 rushed to hospital without vital signs

Two people have been shot - and one victim has been rushed to hospital without vital signs - in an industrial area in Vaughan.

Shooting took place near Weston Road and Highway 407, police say

Two people have been shot in an industrial area in Vaughan.

York Regional police say they received a call about shots fired on Caster Avenue near Highway 407 and Weston Roadaround 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers arrived on the scene to find an injuredman and woman. The man was suffering from gunshot wounds and was rushed to a local hospital.

Police say the woman was taken to a Toronto hospital without vital signs. There is no word on her condition.

Police have released no details on suspects.

The area has been blocked off while police investigate.
