Police arrest 2 in Garden Restaurant shooting

Two men have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Tariq Mohammed.

The 31-year-old Mississauga man was gunned down inside Garden Restaurant in downtown Toronto early on the morning of Nov. 16 when, according to police, an argument broke out among patrons.

Two women, both in their 20s, were also shot and wounded.

Police on Friday arrested Marcus Gibson, 22, and Ceyon Carrington, 28, of Toronto. Both face charges including first-degree murder and robbery with a firearm. They were due to appear in court on Saturday.
