Police charge Brampton CPR instructor with sexual assault

A 65-year-old Brampton CPR instructor has been charged with sexual assault involving of a participant in a course he led, Peel Regional Police said in a news release Friday.

Police say there may be more victims in the case

A 65-year-old Brampton CPR instructor has been charged withsexual assault involving a participant in a course he led, Peel Regional Police said in a news release Friday.

Investigators from the Special Victims Unit said the man was teaching a course near Kennedy Road and Clarence Street in Brampton, andallegedly sexually assaulteda female participant in late July.

Police say there may be more victims and they are asking them to come forward.

The suspect was released on bail, police said, and he is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.
