Teen girl, 2 men dead after Milton collision, police say

A fatal collision in Milton early Saturday morning has left three people dead, including a teenagegirl and two men, Halton police say.

A fatal collision in Milton early Saturday morning has left three people dead, including a teenagegirl and two men, Halton police say.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision near Sixth Line and Derry Road at around 3:20 a.m.

In a news release issued Saturday, police say a16-year-old girl from Brampton and an 18-year-old man, who were travelling togetherin avehicle,were pronounced dead at the scene. A 26-year-old Milton man, who wasin the other vehicle, was also pronounced dead at the scene.

"Our heartfelt condolences are extended to the families affected by these tragic losses," police said in the release.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation, the release said. No other information has been released.

Roads in the area have reopened after closing for several hours Saturday morning for police investigation.

Anyone who witnessedor may have DashCam footage of the collision is asked to contact investigators.
