Health Sciences North wants peopleto avoid playing Pokemon Go on hospital property.

Dan Lessard, the media relationsofficer for the Sudbury hospital, is asking members of the public to respect patients who are receiving care.

"We encourage activity, we encourage fitness," he said.

"But for the safety, privacy andconfidentiality of our patients and their families and our staff, let's just make sure all hospital property is a PokemonGo-free zone. "

Lessard says the advisory was issued aftertwo members of the public were seen playing the smartphone game at HSN last week.He also adds that thisrule alsoapplies to patients who want to play.

But while the hospital should remainfree of Pokemon Go, Lessardwantspeople to keep playing outside becausethe game encourages physical activity.

"[What] we wanted to get out to the publicwas, enjoy the game," he said.

"We know a lot of people are playing it.It does promote activity. But, let's just not do it on hospital property because that's not really the place for it."
