CBC Sudbury Sounds of the Season

On Friday, CBC's Morning North staged a live broadcast from St. Andrew's Place in downtown Sudbury. CBC's Up North did a live show last week, also downtown, in a cozy local coffee shop.

Both events were part of the annual Sounds of the Season campaignwhich locally is a fundraiserfor the Sudbury Food Bank.

In total, both shows raised $7,550 for the food bank.

One of the guests on the Morning North special wasPierre Laframboise. He makes wooden instruments.
