Cambrian College workers clean up Junction Creek

Efforts continue to keepSudbury'sJunction Creek clean.

The urban waterway has been revived in recent years,in large part thanks to the help of volunteers.

On Monday, employees at Cambrian College were out cleaning up around various sections of the creek.

"It's kind of like a landmark for the city and I think a very visible way of trying to get the message across to the community that we all have a responsibility to keep our city beautiful," saidSonia DelMissier, interim president for the college.

DelMissier said almost 200 Cambrian employees will take part in thecleanup.
