Greater Sudbury Police say four people were taken to hospital after a crash at in Azilda Monday.

Greater Sudbury Police say four people were taken to hospital after a crash at in Azilda, Ont., Monday.

In a media release, police described the accident as "serious."

The collision happened in the early afternoon at the intersection of Municipal Road 35 and Notre Dame Street in Azilda.

Traffic was re-routedas police investigated the scene, but the intersection was reopened in the evening.

There is no word yet from police on the cause of the crash or the condition of the people involved.
