Saskatoon police investigate city's 3rd homicide of 2016

A 24-year-old man was brought to hospital with life-threatening injuries on Wednesday. He died just before 10 a.m. Thursday morning.

Saskatoon police are investigating the city's third homicide of 2016 after a man died in hospital Thursday morning.

Police were called to the 100 block of Avenue O S. on Wednesday afternoon at around 1 p.m. CST to a report of an injured man in an apartment.

A 24-year-old man was brought to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died just before 10 a.m. the next morning.

An autopsy has been scheduled for next week and police said the name of the victim is not being released.

Police are still investigating but said that no arrests have been made.
