After honing their skills at River Landinga pair of Saskatoon parkourathletes will see how they stack up against some of the best talenton the continent.

Tyler Harder and Jordan Westad are heading to Vancouver this weekend for theNorth American Parkour Championships. They're hoping to flip, roll and leap their way well enough through NAPC qualification events to enter the competition.

"It's a pretty big deal, especially for us," Westadsaid in aninterview with CBC Radio's Saskatoon Morning. "Like, Saskatoon doesn't have a lotfor stuff like this, so going somewhere big is going to be really cool. The NAPC is held in high regard, the judging there is going to be top quality,"

For Harder, the fact he and Westadhave a shot at competing in theNAPCis a sign of Saskatoon's maturing parkourscene, ascene they helped create.

"It's better now than it ever has been," Harder said. "For the longest timeI was one of the only people training, but now we have a huge, diverse community of younger athletes and coaches as wellwe kind of fostered over the years."
