A cycling group in the city has organized a week-long festival to convince commuters to ride their bike to work.

Bike To Work YXE has planned bike commuter stations every day this week, complete with coffee and treats.

Organizers have also planned cycling trips, yoga for biking classes and bike polo demonstrations.

The group says cycling to work is a healthy, convenient and low-cost form of transportation.

"We hope this event inspires more people to think of cycling as a regular means of transportation and to experience the benefits of arriving at work feeling refreshed, energized and alert."
