Work is starting today on the 19th Street overpass.

It's going to last five weeks as crews first work on concrete repairs and then continue on to expansion joint seal replacements.

The good news is that access to the Sid Buckwold Bridge will be maintained at all times. But the city cautions that there will be delays.

This means that drivers should pay special attention to work zone signs, and pedestrians.

Another traffic-slower beginning today will happen on 11th Street West near Highway #7.

This is where the city is staging its annual taxi inspections. They'll be checking vehicles starting today and running all week.
