Saskatchewan Rush fans gearing up for finals game in Saskatoon

Saskatchewan Rush fans are gearing up for a home game that could give the team a shot at their third straight Champions Cup.

Saskatchewan Rush fans are gearing up for a home game that could give the team a shot at itsthird straight Champion's Cup.

The defending National Lacrosse League champions held a rally in downtown Saskatoon on Friday ahead of the team'slatest finals game against the Colorado Mammoth.

Saskatchewan currently leads the NLL West Division final series 1-0.

If the Rushbeat the Colorado Mammoth in Saskatoon Saturday night, the team will move on to face the winner of the East Division final.

In the eastern series, theGeorgia Swarm currently hasa 1-0 series advantage over the Toronto Rock.

If the teams are tied with one win each after the second game, a 10-minute mini-game will follow immediately to decide the series.

The City of Saskatoon is urging people to take advantage of a Saskatoon Transit service from the downtown terminal to the SaskTel Centre.Buses departat 5:45 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:20 p.m. 6:35 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. CST.

A regular fare of $3, or a pass, still applies and Access Transit is also available. A return service departs outside the Rock 102 main entrance after the game.
