Warm Wednesday: Temperature records fall across Saskatchewan

As warm November weather continues across Saskatchewan, more temperature records have fallen, including one 129 years old.

Wednesday saw a number of records set across the province, including Regina, which had a previous record from 1887.

The Queen City saw 21 C, which beat the 129-year-old record of 18.9 C.

Saskatoon also set a new record with 18 C, beating the 1917 record of 13.9 C.

Other records across the province were:

• Assiniboia reached 18.4 C, breaking the 1999 record of 16 C.
• Broadview reached 16.8 C, breaking the 1961 record of 12.2 C.
• Collins Bay reached 5.5 C, breaking the 2009 record of 1 C.
• Elbow reached 16.3 C, breaking the 1961 record of 13.9 C.
• Estevan reached 21 C, breaking the 1923 record of 16.7 C.
• Hudson Bay reached 13 C, breaking the 2009 record of 10 C.
• Key Lake reached 8 C, breaking the 2009 record of 3.4 C.
• Kindersley reached 18 C, breaking the 1954 record of 14.4 C.
• La Ronge reached 14 C, breaking the 1923 record of 9.4 C.
• Maple Creek reached 23.6 C, breaking the 1961 record of 21.1 C.
• Melfort reached 13.8 C, breaking the 1981 record of 10.5 C.
• Moose Jaw reached 18.9 C, breaking the 1930 record of 18.3 C.
• Nipawin reached 15 C, breaking the 1929 record of 9.4 C.
• North Battleford reached 18 C, breaking the 1905 record of 15.6 C.
• Prince Albert reached 17 C, breaking the 1923 record of 12.2 C.
• Rosetown reached 15.3 C, breaking the 1981 record of 14 C.
• Stony Rapids reached 5 C, breaking the 1969 record of 1.1 C.
• Swift Current reached 21 C, breaking the 1930 record of 16.1 C.
• Watrous reached 15.7 C, breaking the 1981 record of 11.5 C.
• Weyburn reached 18.1 C, breaking the 1969 record of 14.4 C.
• Wynyard reached 14 C, breaking the 1969 record of 10 C.
• Yorkton reached 18 C, breaking the 1923 record of 14.4 C.

Leader and Meadow Lake also came close to their records. Leader reached 16.1 C, short of the 1954 record of 17.2 C. Meadow Lake reached 15.2 C, just shy of the 1923 record of 15.6C.
