Caswell Hill accessible playground project receives big donation

The Caswell Community Association received $90,000 from Co-op for the renovation of a playground in the Ashworth Holmes Park.

A big donation is helping the accessible playground project in Caswell Hill move forward.

The Caswell Community Association received $90,000 from Co-op for the renovation of the playground in the Ashworth Holmes Park.

"The dream of having an upgraded and accessible playground for our area has been a long time goal," said Caswell Community Association representative Raeanne Van Beek.

"Parks and playgrounds like this bring people and neighbourhoods together, and lifelong friendships can be made," she added.

The outdated equipment will be replacedwith a design to allow children of all abilities to play.

Work on the accessibleproject is scheduled to beginnextsummer.
