Autopsy report completed for Saskatoon man who died in custody

The 38-year-old was found unresponsive while in police custody. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Report will not be released until toxicology tests have been completed

The autopsy report fora 38-year-old Saskatoon man who died after being in police custody was completed today.

The results of the report will not be released until toxicology tests have been completed, according to Saskatoon police.

Toxicology testing can take up to several months.

The man was arrested Feb. 26 after police received calls saying that a man that appeared to be intoxicated was running intotraffic.Police took the 38-year-old into custody and discovered his body unresponsive in a holding cell shortly after.

Both ambulance services and the police provided medical attention. The man was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
