Regina man wanted for attempted murder in Pump Roadhouse shooting

Regina police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a Regina man in connection with ashootingat thePump Roadhouse on April 29.

Police sayOmarAbdiHakimHaji-Hussein, 30, is facing two charges of attempted murder, however they have not been able to locate him.

Two men, a 22-year-old and a 35-year-old, weretaken to hospital following the incident at the nightclubto receive treatment for their gunshot wounds.

Ina press release, the Regina Police Service saidHaji-Husseinalso goes by the nameAbdiHakimOmaror 'Z.'

The Pump Roadhouse reopened itsdoors on May 5 for Thirsty Thursdayless than a week after the incident.Staff underwent groupcounselingsessions following the shooting. Additionally, the Pump received outside help from Impact Security.

On May 5, owner Mark Smith said he plans on putting security staff through extra training during the summer. The program is certified through the province's justice ministry.Smith also said he was looking into identification card scanning technology.

The police have not released a photo ofHaji-Hussein, but have asked the public to come forward should they have anyinformation.

Haji-Husseinis described as being6'2" and weighsabout 250 pounds.
