Regina was rocked by a crime spree Sunday morning that included gunfire, multiple armed robberies, and smashed vehicles.

When it was over, four young men were in custody charged with numerous offences.

It all started around 12:30 a.m. CST, when police got calls about four people on the 2200 block of Dewdney Ave. in the North Central area with a gun.

They tracked the suspects' vehicle, but when they attempted to stop it, the carsped away.

Just before 3 a.m., a report came in that people in one vehicle were shooting at another vehicle on Albert Street south of Victoria Avenue.

The victims' vehicle spun out of control and crashed into a parked vehicle on the 3500 block of 25th Ave.
After that the women inside were robbed at gunpoint. One of them was assaulted.

Just 20 minutes later, the same people were said to be downtown robbing a taxi driver and his passengers at gunpoint.

After driving on a flat tire, the suspect vehicle lost control and hit a parked car.

All four young men inside were arrested.

Two are 18 and two are 20 years old. They're scheduled to be in court Monday morning.

Regina police say they continue to investigate the case and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 306-777-6500. People can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
