Randall has been playing water polo for 28 years and has been on the national team since 1998. In that time he's competed around the world, but loved the chance to play at the Pan Am Games in his own country.

"At our semi-final actually against the United States that we unfortunately lost, the most fun I've ever had losing a water polo game," Randall told CBC Saskatchewan's The Afternoon Edition. "It was really a memory that I'll keep with me forever, the sound of the crowd playing in front of the hometown fans... It was really something special."
