Saskatchewan NDP unveils critic positions

The Saskatchewan NDP caucus has unveiled its critics for finance, health, education and other portfolios.

The Saskatchewan NDP caucus has unveiled its critics for finance, health, education and other portfolios.

All 10 of the New Democrats are in the shadow cabinet.

Opposition Leader Trent Wotherspoon will be critic for the economy and youth.

Other members of the NDP shadow cabinet include:

  • Cathy Sproule (finance).
  • Carla Beck (education, early learning and childcare).
  • Nicole Rancourt (social services and municipal relations).
  • Nicole Sarauer (women, immigration, justice, corrections and policing).
  • Danielle Chartier (health and seniors).
  • Buckley Belanger (deputy leader, highways, Global Transportation Hub).
  • David Forbes (labour relation and workplace safety, diversity, human rights).
  • Warren McCall (House leader, advanced education, jobs, skills and training).
  • Doyle Vermette (whip, northern Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Transportation Corporation).

The legislative session begins May 17.
