Regina police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old man who died after he was found injured on Albert Street early Saturday morning.

Police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old man who was found injured in Regina early Saturday morning.

Officers said they received a call about an injured male on the 900 block of Albert Street at about 2:20 a.m. CST.

He was pronounced dead after being rushed to hospital by ambulance.

Police said they are working with the chief coroner's office to investigate the death. Forensics and major crimes units are also involved in the investigation.

The man's next-of-kin have been notified of his death.
