Regina mother, daughter plead guilty in death of Ray Yacevich

A Regina mother and daughter accused of killing Ray Yacevich in 2014 have pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

A Regina mother and daughter accused of killing Ray Yacevich in 2014 have pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

On March 23, 2014, Yacevich's body was found following a fire on Wascana Street. Police determined it was a homicide,which led them to search for the mother and daughter who also lived there.

Days later, Rosalyn Wilm, 41, and Sarah Wilm, 22, were arrested near Kamsack, Sask., and charged with second degree murder.

Both appeared in court on Friday morning. The crown and defence agreed to a guilty plea on the lesser manslaughter charge.

The pair is expected to be sentenced Friday afternoon.
